Devotees observing Shravani Somvar take to Shiva Jyotirlingas in Marathwada

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Aug 19 (UNI) The third Shravani Somvar was observed across the Marathwada region by performing mandate rituals and visting temples, local reports said here.
Devotees in huge numbers queued up at the respective temples across three districts of Aurangabad, Beed and Hingoli to pay obeisance to the Shiva Jyotirlingas located at these places.
The Grishneswar Joytirlinga, located near the Ellora, witnessed massive crowding on this auspicious occassion.
Similar scenes of reverence and adulation were reported from the Vaidyanath and Aundha Nagnath Jyotirlingas located in the Beed and Hingoli districts, respectively.
Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place to thwart law and order situation.
A total of 12 such Jyotirlingas exist in India.
