Devotees join in Giri Pradakshina at Simhachalam temple in AP

Visakhapatnam, Jul 15 (UNI) Lakhs of devotees took part in the giri pradakshina (encircle the hill) marking the auspicious 'Ashada Poornami' at the sri Varahalakshmi Nrusimha Swamy temple atop Simhachalam hill, near here on Monday.
The temple authorities and the police have made elaborate arrangements for the auspicious 'Giri Pradakshina' annual event.
Besides CCTV cameras ,the district police have arranged tight security by deploying 2,000 additional police personnel in and around the city and along the 32-km 'Giri Pradakshina' trekking path.
