Mumbai Dec 5 (UNI) Devendra Gangadhar Fadnavis took oath as Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Thursday in the presence of a large number of dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and NCP President Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief ministers. at a grand ceremony held in the Azad Maidan here under tight security..

Maha state song to be mandatory now for all schools in State during assembly : Bhuse

Mumbai, Jan 14 (UNI) Maharashtra state song ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza’ will now be mandatory for all schools in the state, irrespective of their board affiliations, School Education Minister Dada Bhuse said.
The song will be played after the national anthem during daily school assembly, according to a release on Tuesday by the State School Education department.
