Ranchi, May 20 (UNI) With time running short for the Raghubar Das government in Jharkhand as assembly elections are due in the state in November-December, the Chief Minister has directed the officials to launch and realise the development schemes which are targetted at the rural areas especially those related to drinking water and power.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here, Mr Das said that today itself he had held a high level review meeting at the project building where he had tasked the officials to commence the launch of various government schemes which are meant for rural and the village population.
He said, on June 1 from Shikaripada he will be launching the scheme of installing solar powered street lights in the villages which would commence initially in 9 districts of Santhal and Kolhan regions of the state. Similarly, in the village roads with paver blocks will be built which is also help in maintaining the underground water level.
