Develop non-lethal ways to tackle unrest in Kashmir: Ram Madhav

Srinagar, Jul 10 (UNI) In the backdrop of death of 19 people, including a police jawan in clashes in the past 48 hours in Kashmir valley, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav today said non-lethal ways of tackling such protests should be developed.
So far, 19 people, including a policeman, have lost their lives while over 250 are injured since violence was instigated in the valley after the killing of top Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commander Burhan Wani in an encounter in south Kashmir on Friday evening.
“Loss of lives in South Kashmir unfortunate and saddening. We have to develop non-lethal ways of tackling such situations. Police too suffer heavily,” Mr Madhav wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
