Despite pro-Cong mood in Kerala, party stalwarts reluctant to contest LS polls

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Strange can be the ways of politics. Even as public mood and various surveys indicate that the Congress is heading for a landslide victory in Lok Sabha polls in Kerala, there is reluctance among top leaders to shift to national politics.
According to party sources, the fear of defeat is not as much as the ‘unwillingness’ to give up coveted posts in the home state.
This is apparently one major reason which is preventing the Kerala Pradesh Congress President Mullappally Ramachandran to go for the electoral fray from his constituency, Vadakara, in Northern Kerala.
