Designhill to expand its footprint in four countries soon

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (UNI) Designhill, a leading online graphic design platform, brings the global graphic designer community and their potential clients under one roof, is planning expand its footprint in Germany, Russia, Brazil and Austriala soon, Designhill Founder and CEO Rahul Aggarwal and Co-founder and COO, Varun Aggarwal said on Thursday.
Addressing a joint press conference, they said, currently, the company has its corporate office in Gurgaon in the country and also has a subsidiary company at Delaware in US
Sharing its business plan and roadmap for 2019, they further said with the launch of multiple design workshops and courses for skill development pan India starting with Telangana, where huge number of freelance designers are registered with our design platform.
The technologically driven platform offers more than 35 graphic design solutions to individuals and small or large businesses alike, they said the brand has a strong global network of over 100,000 designers from over 150 countries including India, US, Canada.
Some of the notable clients of Designhill are renowned brands like Microsoft, Deloitte, BBC, Ericsson, Ticketmaster and WinZip, they said currently, the company caters to more than 120,000 customers with an annual revenue of over Rs 25 crores.
We are expected to touch our revenues by Rs 125 crores in 2019-2020, Rahul said “Globally 20-30 per cent of the workforce in developed countries is engaged in independent work.
As per a recent report by McKinsey, 50 per cent of the entire workforce in India will be part of Gig Economy by 2020 and 80 per cent by 2030, he said at present, we have a strong network of over 35,000 designers in India, of which 16 per cent of the freelancer workforce is from Telangana.
The Indian gig economy space is set to witness a massive growth in the coming years, and we foresee huge business potential, he asserted.
Mr Aggarwal informed that we started Designhill with a vision to democratise the gig economy space in India by providing cost-effective design solutions for all types of business entities and in line with this, we are contemplating o launch several new-age design courses and customised workshops for upskilling of the designer community and better job creation opportunities for designers in India.
In the next few months, Designhill is planning to roll-out a diverse set of skill development workshops and courses pan India, he said the company plans to launch of its multi-currency and multi-lingual websites.
In addition, Designhill is foraying into B2C segment with the introduction of a new category- ‘custom apparel and product’ comprising over five lakhs unique products such as T-shirts, phone cases, bags etc. These products will have unique designs created by the Designhill community.
Designhill has introduced an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered Logo Maker to provide fast and unique logos at an affordable cost. They are also planning to roll out a multi-lingual/multi-currency website sometime this year, and that should be a game-changer. Although they are based out of India, being a global platform, they need to have a presence in every country in their local language and currency, they added.
