Deputy Registrar & Inspector of Cooperative Society Gurdaspur suspended

Chandigarh, Nov 15 (UNI) The Cooperation Department of Punjab has ordered the suspension of Deputy Registrar of the Cooperative Society Gurdaspur Bhupinder Singh and Inspector Bhupinder Singh of the Cooperative Society Shahpur Jajan circle over the bribery allegations.
A communiqué by the Cooperation Minister, Punjab, S Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that the Secretary of the Athwal Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society Heera Singh had leveled bribery allegations against both the above mentioned officers and had even given an affidavit in this regard.
Pursuant to this, Deputy Registrar Bhupinder Singh was placed under suspension and his headquarter fixed at Headoffice whereas the services of Inspector Bhupinder Singh was also placed under suspension with office of the Joint Registrar Cooperative Societies, Jalandhar fixed as his headquarter. The minister further said that the Deputy Registrar Pathankot has been given the additional charge of Gurdaspur alongwith his current duty.
