Deputy CM Manish Sisodia emphasises on need to go beyond books

New Delhi, Dec 18 (UNI) Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday blamed the current education system and learning process for the lack of imaginative thinking among students and underlined that there is a need to go beyond books and students should think 'outside the box.'
Addressing the students and teachers at the Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya in the capital, the Education Minister urged the students to 'revolt' against the existing teaching methods to bring in more innovations.
"You might be thinking that I am trying to spoil you by asking you to revolt. Yes, you are right, I want you to be spoiled so that you kick out these traditional norms, challenge them and then come out with finer alternatives,” he said.
