Department of Consumer Affairs directs Mother Dairy to sell tomatoes at 40 Rs per kg through all its outlets

New Delhi, Jul 19 (UNI) The Department of Consumer Affairs (DoCA) on Friday reviewed price and availability of tomatoes in Delhi and directed Mother Dairy to sell tomatoes at 40 Rs per Kilogram through all its outlets
The DoCA reviewed the price and availability of tomatoes in Delhi with stakeholders in a high level inter ministerial committee meeting chaired by the Secretary, DoCA, Mr Avinash K Srivastava.
It was observed that the price of tomatoes rose sharply since July 10.
