Hyderabad, Feb 1 (UNI) Denver, the premium fragrance brand for men on Friday announced telugu film star Mahesh Babu as its South India brand ambassador.

Announcing this at a press conference held at Annapurna Studio, here, Denver Director (Marketing & Sales) Saurabh Gupta said that Denver has made its presence in India for many years and positioned itself as brand. Now we also have Mahesh Babu on board, one of the well-known superstars of south India as our brand ambassador. An icon and idol for the region’s youth, he is the perfect fit for the brand .

'We are confident that this association will enable us to reach out to and capture a much larger audience in the south Indian market”, he said.

After becoming the brand ambassador, Mahesh Babu said,' It is honour for me to be a part of Denver’s growth journey as its brand ambassador for south India and I am looking forward to a long and mutually successful association”.

Shahrukh Khan is the brand ambassador of north India for Denver.

Denver currently enjoys two per cent market share in south India, while its pan-India market share stands at seven per cent. Through this partnership, Denver is eyeing a 300 per cent market share across south India and aims to become the most preferred fragrance brand in the region, thus bolstering its long-term vision of evolving into an all-encompassing grooming brand for men over the next couple of years, the company statement said.
