ParliamentPosted at: Dec 16 2016 6:37PM Demonetisation devours Winter Session; LS, RS adjourned sine dieNew Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) Held under the shadow of Government’s highly controversial step of demonetisation, the Winter Session of Parliament turned out to be almost a washout because of the stand-off between the Opposition and the Government over the issue. Both Houses of Parliament were today adjourned sine die without transacting much business, except the Rajya Sabha passing one Bill and the Lok Sabha passing two Bills, including the Taxation Laws (Second Amendment) Bill, 2016.
