Demolition of Nagampadom railway overbridge suspended

Kottayam, Apr 27 (UNI) The demolition of Nagampadom railway overbridge by using explosives has been suspended temporarily due to unsuccessful attempt here on Saturday.
Efforts are being made to resume the train services and vehicular movement in the Kottayam route following the failure of two attempts to demolish the bridge which was built in 1953, railway sources said.
As part of the doubling of rail lines, the railway decided to use limited explosive materials to demolish the bridge to avoid delay and disruption of traffic.
