New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Delhi's air quality on Tuesday deteriorated further with the average Air Quality Index rising to 332, falling under the 'very poor ' category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
Delhiites walking towards winters have got no respite from the worsening air quality so far as low wind speed, stubble burning and other factors have affected the air quality of the city.
The minimum temperature recorded at 10.6 degrees on Tuesday morning along with high relative humidity pegging at 87 per cent also added to making the air dense , preventing dispersion of the particulate matter.
The air quality at Anand Vihar, Gazipur and other hotspots identified in the city ferried under the very poor category , while there a layer of haze that covered the sky in the morning hours.
Around the NCR region places like Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram and others also reeled under very poor air , while small towns and places across several parts of the northern states also had similar air quality.
