Delhi's air improves from "very poor" to "poor"

New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) The air quality in Delhi improved from "very poor" to "poor" category on Monday morning, as the reading of the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 286, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
As per the CPCB, the AQI recorded on Sunday morning was 365.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degree Celsius and the high relative humidity pegged at 69 per cent with low wind speed preventing the dispersion of the particulate matter.
Air quality around the NCR region was mostly under the poor category. Several areas across the northern states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab were covered with haze in the morning hours.
The stubble burning activities continued across Haryana and Punjab.
