New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) The National Capital on Tuesday recorded more fresh COVID-19 infections as compared to the recoveries, while city's recovery rate witnessed a slight drop and is at 89.81 per cent.
The total number of fresh cases of the viral infection recorded in the past 24 hours stood at 1257, while the cured /discharged cases in the same duration were 727, as per the state health bulletin.
Active cases of the contagion in the city have witnessed a spike of 522 in the past one day, taking the figure to 10868.
