New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Delhi Police has appealed to the agitators at the Shaheen Bagh to cooperate and clear the road in view of larger public interest as the highway blockade due to the ongoing protests was making the residents of Delhi NCR suffer, as lakhs of commuters use the road everyday.
The Police urged the protestors to cooperate and clear the road as senior citizens, emergency patients, school going children and others were affected because of the blocked road.
Anti CAA and NRC protests at the Shaheen Bagh have been taking place since long, resulting in temporary closure of the Kalindi Kunj-Shaheen Bagh Stretch and Okhla underpass that has hit the traffic movement between Delhi -Noida and Faridabad.
