New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) National capital on Sunday reeled under 'poor' air quality with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 244 at 1100 hours, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data reported.
The adjoining cities to the likes of Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad also ferried under 'poor' air quality with an average AQI over 240.
The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 6.4 degrees C this morning, while relative humidity pegged around 85 per cent, which along with the slow wind speed prevents dispersion of particulate matter.
