Delhi govt gives three-fold hike in margin money to ration dealers

New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) The Delhi government has increased by three times, the margin money for ration dealers in the national capital, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Imran Hussain announced on Saturday.
The Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has approved the Food Department proposal to hike the ration dealers margin money from 70 paisa per kg to Rs two per kg in offline mode, annually.
The announcement follows the Cabinet approval to the department's proposal for hiking the margin money from existing Rs 70 per quintal to Rs 200 per quintal to the ration dealers for distribution of foodgrains, through the manual mode.
