Delhi experiences coldest day of the season at 3.4 deg C
New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) Delhi today experienced the coldest day of the season with the minimum temperature plummeting to season's lowest recorded at 3.4 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal.
The cold winds blowing throughout the day forced people to stay in their heavy woollens. People were also seen sipping cup of tea in various parts of the city to beat the chilly weather.
However, foggy weather condition continued to affect train services in the city this morning. At least 26 trains were running late, eight rescheduled and seven got cancelled. The flight operations remained largely unaffected.
