Delhi Drugs Control Dept conducts special enforcement drive at Bhagirath Palace

New Delhi, Dec 15 (UNI)
Stepping up its efforts to curb the illegal drug trade, the Drugs Control Department of the Government of NCT of Delhi carried out a special inspection and enforcement drive at Bhagirath Palace, one of the capital’s major wholesale drug markets.
During the special enforcement programme, departmental teams conducted inspections at 27 wholesale drug establishments operating in the area. Officials found more than 10 firms violating provisions of the Drugs Rules, following which necessary action has been initiated against the defaulting firms under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules.
