New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) A Delhi Court after filing an action taken report (ATR) by Delhi Police in a complained case filed against wrestlers seeking an FIR for allegedly making false allegations against WFI President Brij Bhushan Saharan Singh and indulging in hate speech adjourned for further hearing on July 7.
Metropolitan Magistrate Anamika after hearing the fresh application/complaint under Section 156(3) and 200 Criminal Procedure Code(Cr.P.C.) against wrestlers on May 25, 2023 said, "Let ATR be called from the concerned SHO for NDOH. Put up for further proceedings on 09.06.2023."
After direction from court Delhi Police on June 9 filed an action taken report (ATR) before the court and submitted that the video provided by the complainant, the wrestlers are not seen raising slogans and no offence of hate speech is made out and requested to dismiss the application.
The court now adjourned the matter for further hearing on July, 7.
Bam Bam Maharaj Nauhatiya, the complainant has filed a complaint case against wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik for allegedly making false allegations against Brij Bhushan Saharan Singh and indulging in hate speech.
