New Delhi,Oct 7 (UNI) Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday submitted a memorandum to Lt Governor Anil Baijal complaining against the 'irregularities' in Delhi government's health department. The memorandum stated that diagnostic machines like MRI were out of order since an year in the GB Pant Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur, Lok Nayak J P and Dr B R Ambedkar Hospitals, while pathological equipment were also not working. Irregularities have also been found in the working of Central Procurement Agency formed by the Kejriwal Government, the memorandum also stated. Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari who submitted the memorandum to the Mr Baijal, also drew his attention towards the large scale irregularities in the Government. Hospitals and Mohalla Clinics under the Health Department, demanding an inquiry followed with appropriate action into the matter. Referring to news reports and sting operation on TV, Mr Tiwari said the charges of irregularities against Health Department are confirmed, and urged the LG to get the scam investigated by an appropriate agency. The BJP also alleged that there is a shortage of paramedical staff, pharmacists and doctors in many government hospitals, health centers and operating Mohalla Clinics, while necessary medicines were also not available for patients.
