Delhi assembly refers CAG report on advts spending to House privileges committee

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) Delhi Assembly speaker Ram Niwas Goel today referred the report of the Comptroller and Audit General on spending on advertisements by the Kejriwal government, to the House privileges committee as the ruling AAP members accused the Leader of opposition Vijendra Gupta of leaking the report to the media.
In a bid to corner the government in the House over the issue Mr Gupta quoted some references from the report and said that they spent colossal amount on advertisements in media and their propaganda was done on
the cost of tax payers money without taking the assembly in confidence.
