New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) Indian wrestler Deepak Punia clinched silver in men's 86 kg freestyle category after being defeated 1-2 by Turkey's Arif Ozen in the final match of the Junior World Wrestling Championship on Sunday.
With this loss, the dream wining gold medal after 17 years also vanished.
India was eyeing for a gold medal in this competition for the last 17 years, which went in vain. India won two gold medals in this championship in 2001 organised in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since then, India failed to clinch any gold.
