Death toll in hooch tragedy increases to seven

Shimla, Jan 20 (UNI) Death toll in the hooch tragedy that occurred at Salapar area under Sundarnagar sub-division of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday increased to seven as two serious patients succumbed in Medical College, Nerchowk at Sundernagar on Thursday, senior police officer confirmed.
SP Mandi Ms. Shalini Agnihotri said that two more patients who were under treatment at Shri Lalbhadur Shastri Medical College Nerchowk in Mandi district died this morning.
She said that out of nine people who consumed spurious liquor on Tuesday and fell ill seven of them have died and two other sick patients were being treated at Civil Hospital, Sundernagar.
