Dearth of quality players hurting Pak: Zaheer Abbas

Karachi, May 24 (UNI) Former Pakistan skipper Zaheer Abbas reckons that dearth of quality replacements for the senior players and lack of international matches at home soil is hurting the country.
The Pakistan team in recent times have struggled, especially in the T20, as they have fallen to number nine in the ICC rankings.
"Country which has a rich cricketing history and legacy, it saddens me to see the state of affairs today.It is sad that a country which has produced so many legends now has to even think about playing in qualifying rounds of a ICC event,'' Abbas said yesterday.
