DC Irshad Khan denies involvement in Love Jihad Case

Kalaburagi, June 30 (UNI) Deputy Commissioner (Commercial taxes) Irshad Khan on Saturday denied that he or his familly, including his wife, are not involved in recently alleged ' love jihad case ' of Kochi, Kerala and he will fully cooperate with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) which is investigating the case.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Irshad said that it was far from truth that his wife was involved in a case where 25 year old Hindu girl from Kochi was allegedly seduced and converted to Islam for marriage. "It was totally wrong that the girl was hidden in his house before smuggled to Siriya and Soudi, he added.
He said that the NIA Officer, who is probing the case, questioned his wife in Bangalore for two days before and asked her to surrendered her laptops and mobile phones.

UP to develop cities as 'growth centers' to become trillion dollar economy

Lucknow, Aug 12 (UNI) To accomplish its mission of turning Uttar Pradesh into a one trillion dollar economy, the Yogi Adityanath government will now develop cities as 'growth centers' in the state and promote startups and investments, according to state government spokesperson.
A government spokesman said on Friday that in accordance with the vision of CM Yogi Adityanath, efforts are being made to transform cities in a way to foster economic growth while ensuring large-scale employment generation. "Along with the development of new cities, the network of highways will also be expanded, leading to enhancement of basic facilities in the state," he said.
