Days after hailing Stalin, BJP TN Vice-President joins DMK

Days after hailing Stalin, BJP TN Vice-President joins DMK

Chennai, Dec 5 (UNI) Days after hailing DMK President M K Stalin

and that he would become the Chief Minister, BJP Tamil Nadu Vice

President B T Arasakumar today quit the saffron party and joined

the DMK.

Arasakumar joined the DMK in the presence of Mr Stalin at the DMK

headquarters Anna Arivalayam after quitting the BJP by presenting

him a shawl.

Talking to reporters later, Arasakumar said his journey began today

to make Mr Stalin the Chief Minister of the State.

He also alleged that only a few get opportunities to excel in the BJP

and many were sidelined.

He also claimed that there was no respect for those who work

tirelessly for the party .

Arasakumar, while taking part in a marriage function in Pudukottai

district on Sunday, hailed Mr Stalin and said he has become a good

administrator and he will soon become the Chief Minister.

Taking a serious view of his remark, the BJP State unit sent a

complaint against him to the Party High command to take action

against him, and also barred him from attending any party

programmes and events.
