Day temperatures appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam

Pune, Oct 19 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch and Kerala and in remaining parts of Tamil Nadu.
Day temperatures were markedly below normal in some parts of Punjab and were appreciably below normal in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada and were below normal in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of west Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. The highest maximum temperature of 38.3°C was recorded at Barmer (west Rajasthan).
Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State and Madhya Maharashtra and were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Uttarakhand, west Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Telangana and Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of west Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State and Madhya Maharashtra.
