Day temp improves, evening remains chilly in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 23 (UNI) The weather remained pleasant for the second successive day due to sunshine though evening turned chilly owing to cloudy skies coupled with ice cold winds in Kashmir valley.
Meanwhile, the night temperature remained above normal at majority of the places in the valley, where light rain and thunderstorms could occur at isolated places during the next 24 hours.
A Met department spokesperson told UNI that light rain or thundershowers could occur at isolated places during the next 24 hours in the Kashmir valley.
