New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Sri Lanka were 119/4 after 47 overs on day five of the last Test against India at Feroz Shah Kotla ground here on Wednesday.
Sri Lanka require another 291 runs with 6 wickets remaining in their second innings.
Continuing with their overnight score of 31/3 in their second innings, Dinesh Chandimal 27 (71) and Dhananjaya de Silva 56 (80) added 84 runs for the fifth wicket partnership.
In the morning session, Angelo Mathews was caught by Ajinkya Rahane and bowled by Jadeja at score of 1 after facing 20 balls.
During the break, De Silva (72) and Chandimal (27) were at the crease.
De Silva's 72 came off in 128 deliveries hitting 9 fours and a six while skipper Chandimal's 27 came in 71 balls with 2 fours.
For India, Jadeja claimed wicket of Mathews in the morning session.
