Darwin EVAT to launch electric 2-wheelers by year-end

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Darwin EVAT on Monday announced to launch three models of electric two-wheelers by year-end.
In a media statement, the firm said that it had initially invested nearly Rs 450 crore as part of its strategy to enter the green vehicle segment.
“Darwin EVAT’s production begins at Delhi-NCR located facility and the company has been setting up a pan India dealership network to expand sales," the company said.
Darwin Platform Group of Companies (DPGC) CEO Raja Roy Choudhury said that before hitting the market Darwin EVAT would ensure that its customers get excellent post-sales services.
"Charging infrastructure is one of the major concerns when it comes to the growth and broader adoption of EVs in the country. The high-growth mobility segment demands a highly efficient ecosystem in terms of manufacturing, sales, charging and post-sales services," he said.
