Dalwinder stuns V M Ranjeet, faces Mohit Mayur in final

Dalwinder played solid match against former Davis Cupper V M Ranjeet in the first set. Dalwinder maintained his momentum as he used to attack with powerful forehand to buildup the point nicely.
In the second semifinals top seed Mohit Mayur won from Suraj Prabodh 4-0 retired. Mohit will face Dalwinder in the finals on Friday.
Qualifier Salsa Aher and Lakshmi Reddy advanced into the women’s singles finals. Salsa Aher upset third seed Kashish Bhatia of Delhi in a three setter marathon match. Salsa won the first set but just dropping a single game 6-1.
In the second set Kashish Bhatia came back strongly to lead 4-1 up. After 1-4 down Salsa took next three games in a row and make it 4-5. In 10th game Kashish held her serve and won the second set 6-4. In the final set both players played consistently with high intensity till 5-5. Finally Salsa Aher used her experience and closed the set and match 7-5.
In the second semifinals qualifier Lakshmi Reddy upset fourth seed Sarvya Shivani of Telangana state in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. Lakshmi Reddy will play against Salsa Aher in the women’s singles Finals.
Mohit Mayur / Oges Thejo and Salsa Aher & her partner Kaavya Sawhney moved into doubles finals.
Salsa Aher and Kaavya Sawhney defeated Sanya Yadav and Ananya Yadav 6-0, 6-4, in the women’s doubles semifinals. Mohit Mayur and Oges Theyjo J will play Atharva Sharma / Hardeep Singh Sandhu In the men’s doubles finals.
