Dalit org in UP reacts sharply to Kamal Nath's remark, demands unconditional apology

Lucknow, Oct 19 (UNI) The Dalit fraternity in Uttar Pradesh expressed a strong reservation to the 'unsavoury' comment made by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath Singh and demanded 'unconditional apology' from the Congress leader.
In a strong-worded letter, President of Dr Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust Lalji Prasad Nirmal, said the particular remark manifests the 'patriarchal,' 'feudal' and 'regressive' mentality of the Congress leader towards women and the Dalits.
''Kamal Nath owes an apology to the entire 30 crore-strong Dalit community and women, who feel insulted over the remark,'' he said.
