D Raju elected as Chairman of CII Telangana for 2019-20

Hyderabad, Mar 20 (UNI) Mr D Raju, CEO & Managing Director of Kirby Building Systems & Structures India Private Limited WAS elected as the Chairman of CII Telangana for the financial year 2019-20 at its Annual meeting held here on Wednesday.

He has a total experience of 37 years in areas of business leadership, turnaround management, strategic management, key account management, engineering & project management.

Mr. Raju, as part of Kirby Building Systems, is instrumental in the growth of Pre-Engineered Steel Building Technology in India & lending help in building the industry & country's phenomenal infrastructure growth over the past decade.
Under his leadership, Kirby in India is successfully operating with over 25 per cent market share and two plants in Hyderabad and Haridwar receiving many notable awards and recognitions for its contribution to the infrastructure sector.
Also, he has successfully established Center of Engineering Excellence (CEE) in Hyderabad with over 250 well-qualified & experienced personnel providing design and engineering services to Kirby Worldwide.

Mr Raju is a native of Nizamabad, holds a Civil Engineering degree and completed MBA from Osmania University, and holds the title of Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Engineers - India.

Mr Krishna Bodanapu, Managing Director & CEO, Cyient Ltd was elected as the Vice -Chairman of CII Telangana for 2019-20.

As Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, of Cyient, Krishna provides the strategic direction for growth and is responsible for all operations.

Krishna initially joined Cyient (then Infotech) as a Sales Manager, driving sales of engineering services in Europe. He later moved to India, where he held dual roles of Marketing Manager, for the company's aerospace vertical, and Key Account Manager. As Marketing Manager, he worked with several key aerospace customers and was an integral part of many successful customer engagements.
As Key Account Manager, he was responsible for relationship building and account management for several primary customers in the engineering services.

Earlier in the role of COO, Krishna contributed significantly to Cyient's consistent growth in terms of revenue, margin, customer and associate satisfaction.

Prior to Cyient, Krishna was with Altera Corporation, a leading semi-conductor manufacturer in San Jose, California. He was responsible for the company's flagship product line, APEX.

Krishna holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, at Northwestern University.
