New Delhi, Jul 30 (UNI) World championship bronze medalist Shiva Thapa and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Manoj Kumar bagged gold medals in their respective matches in the 48th Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem Men's Boxing Championships in the Czech Republic. Asian championship silver medalist Thapa, who won gold in the 60kg weight category, outclassed Slovakia's Mikhail Filip Mesjaros by 5-0. Manoj also won gold medal in the 69kg category by defeating local boxer David Courtchick 5-0 during the event last night. Apart from Thapa and Manoj, Amit Fangal (52kg), Gaurav Vaidu (56kg) and Satish Kumar (+91kg) also won gold. Amit defeated Kavinder 3-2 in the light flyweight category (49kg) and won the gold medal. Gaurav beat Poland's Ivannav Jaroslove 5-0, while Satish defeated Germany's Max Keller and won the gold medal. Kavinder Bisht (52kg) and Manish Panwar (81kg) clinched silver medal. Apart from Kavinder and Manish, Sumit Sangwan had to settle with a bronze medal in the 91kg category due to a semi-final defeat. UNI NC RSA 1710
