Amaravati, Nov 10 (UNI) Saturday’s cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal extending up to 3.6 km above mean sea level persisted over the same area at 0830 hours on Sunday.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same area during the next 36 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move slowly nearly westwards towards Tamil Nadu/Sri Lanka coasts during the subsequent two days, the Meteorological Centre said.
In a daily weather report here, it said that Saturday’s trough from the above cyclonic circulation over southwest Bay of Bengal to east-central Bay of Bengal extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea levels persists.
