Cyclone Gaja to cross TN coast tomorrow morning

Chennai, NOv 15 (UNI) The Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘GAJA’ over Southwest
Bay of Bengal moved further west-southwestwards and lay centred over
Southwest Bay of Bengal about 95 km east-southeast of Nagapattinam.
It is very likely to move west-southwestwards and cross Tamil Nadu coast
between Pamban and Cuddalore, south of Nagapattinam in early hours of
tomorrow.
Met office said the Severe Cyclonic Storm with a wind speed of 100-110 kmph
would gust to 120 kmph at the time of land fall.
The system moved slowly during six hours leading to delay in expected time of
landfall to early hours of tomorrow.
The Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘GAJA’ is being monitored by Doppler Weather
Radar Chennai and Karaikal since today morning.
