Cyclone Fani: Restore power, telecom services, Cab Secy to authorities

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) Reviewing the ongoing relief measures in the cyclone "Fani" hit states, the National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) chaired by the Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha, here on Sunday directed the concerned authorities on the restoration of power and telecom services.
Very severe Cyclone 'Fani' (pronounced as Foni), struck the coast of Odisha, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh this week. In the unusual cyclone, in the month of May, power and telecom services, were affected the most.
Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha, here on Sunday stressed on the restoration of power and telecom services in the states which has been affected by the severe Cyclone Fani.
