Gold Coast, Apr 13 (UNI) India's Manika Batra and Mouma Das had to settle with silver medal after losing 0-3 against defending champions Singapore's Feng Tianwei and Yu Mengyu in the women's doubles table tennis final here on Friday.
Having led the country towards victory in team championship, Batra could not continue her momentum and lost to Singapore's Tianwei and Mengyu 5-11, 4-11, 5-11 in the finals of the women's doubles event.
In the bronze medal play-off, the Malaysian duo Ying Ho and Karen Lyne emeged victorious against India's Sutirtha Mukherjee and Pooja Sahasrabudhe 15-13, 11-7, 8-11, 11-7.
