Curtain Raiser on Drug Demand Reduction initiated by SJ Minister Dr MK Sharma

Gangtok, Nov 21 (UNI) In a bid to reduce the demand for illicit drugs, the Social Justice Minister has decided to take practical steps.
‘ Drug Abuse is a disability of mind. It is high time to press people on the issue of Drug Demand Reduction. Sikkim, should not be crippling due to it. The productive Youth going out of control to need to be saved,’ said Minister for Social Justice Dr MK Sharma, here today.
Social Justice Department is all set to host a programme on Drug Demand Reduction on 25th November’19. The inmates of different Rehabilitation centres will also be attending the programme, with Panchayats and Police personnel. Children’s Parliament will be the main attraction of the day. Sports events will also be conducted.
