Curfew in Aurangabad up to July 15

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jul 2 (UNI) In view of rising corona cases in Aurangabad, city police commissioner Chiranjeev Prasad imposed curfew in the city on Thursday from 1900 hours to 0700 hrs daily up to July 15 as a preventive measure.
In a notification issued to media, Mr Prasad stated that section 144 (1)(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been enforced in the jurisdiction of the Commissionerate till July 15.
Adequate police force has been deployed at every square in the city.
The violation of the order will result in legal action, the order said.
People working in establishments, essential and medical services as well as industrial units are excluded from this but they must carry the identity card of their organisation with themselves, the order added.
