CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur organises awareness program on ‘Solid Waste Management & Disposal of Plastic Waste

Kolkata, Oct 24 (UNI) To make the country a plastic-free nation, CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur organised an awareness program on ‘Solid Waste Management & Disposal of Plastic Waste today with the students of Hemsheela Model School & Suren Chandra Modern School.
Around 80 students participated in this programme with an aim to create awareness about the recycling of the plastics
All the participating students were apprised about the various aspects of Solid Waste Management and visited Municipal Solid Waste management pilot plant in CSIR-CMERI Colony Campus.
