Raipur, Jan 2 (UNI) Reacting sharply to BJP for questioning the decision of constituting SIT to probe Civil Supplies Corporation (CSC) scam, the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress on Wednesday said it was not a political vendetta, rather it was a case of embezzlement of ration meant for the poor.
Chhattisgarh Congress general secretary Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, addressing a press conference here, said that influential persons who embezzled the grains meant for the poor, should be brought under scanner and appropriate action be taken against them.
He said that BJP state president Dharamlal Kaushik’s statement questioning the decision for SIT probe only reflected BJP’s fear.
