Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 13 2016 10:13PM Crocodile hatchlings emerge from egg shells in BhitarkanikaKendrapada, Aug 13 (UNI) Hundreds of hatchlings of estuarine crocodile have started emerging from the egg shells of salt water crocodiles’ nests located at the wild of Bhitarkanika National Park According to Ranger of Kanika Forest Range Akhaya Kumar Nayak, the forest personnel have sighted several baby crocodiles emerging from the egg shells from the nests. “Its really amazing to watch when the baby crocodile are heading aimlessly before entering the water bodies of Bhitarkanika National Park. The forest department has engaged the ground staff to keep a close watch on the baby crocodiles’ movement to ensure that predators will not cause any harm to them.
