Criminals running organised syndicates protected by those in power in UP: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Jul 14 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday alleged that under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule, criminals are running organised syndicates protected by those in power from the roads to the jails in Uttar Pradesh.
In a statement issued here, Mr Yadav said that criminals are being given protection in the BJP rule. A racket of prisoners giving commission to bring money in the jail in the Siddharthnagar district jail has come to the fore. Due to the arrogance of power, BJP leaders, relatives act according to their own will. They do not have any fear of law, he alleged.
He averred that the BJP's 'jungle raj' is proving to be worse for the daughters. A minor was raped and her body was then hanged at a boarding school in Noida. Her last rites were conducted without informing the family. Two sons of an Inspector raped a girl along with their friends in Prayagraj.
