Criminals loot Rs 5 lakh from Munshi of registration office

Katihar, Aug 22 (UNI) Unidentified criminals looted Rs 5 lakh from the Munshi (cashier) of registration office near Maulanapur under Barsoi police station area in Katihar district today.

Police said here that motorcycle borne criminals looted Rs 5 lakh from the cashier near Maulanapur on gun point when he was going deposit the office cash in a bank branch. Sources said an FIR had been registered at the police station concerned on the statement of cashier.

A massive manhunt was on to nab the accused.
