Criminals fled UP after BJP came to power: Yogi

Criminals fled UP after BJP came to power: Yogi

Lucknow, May 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday that law of the land has been restored after BJP came to power in the state forcing the criminals to flee which resulted in flow of investments in the state.

“The SP and BSP governments were corrupt and promoted criminals. SP and BSP goons occupied government land during their regime but when we came to power we freed the land and opened hospitals, gaushalas and leased out the remaining land to the poor,” Yogi said while addressing rallies in Gehmar of Ghazipur and Gulhariya of Pipraich.

“Because of BJP government, there is fear in the minds of these goondas and this could only be possible because of the support of locals”, he said.

Hitting out at opposition leaders who claim that in last years no development has taken place in UP Yogi said that `Jin logon ko bhagwan ne dristi hi nahin di unhe vikas kabhi nahin dikhyega (Those who are blind, cannot see the development).

“The Government has worked in all sectors. Farmers are getting good remunerative price of their produce, the poor have got free electric connections, subsidised houses and gas connections, he said adding that Congress during its rule ignored farmers, soldiers, and youth but since PM Modi came to power all the problems are being solved.

He specifically talked about ‘One Rank One Pension’ and said Modiji implemented this scheme which was not even considered during previous governments.

Talking about the achievements of Modi government Yogi said due to foreign policies of Prime Minister India is globally known for its power. Now the terrorists are also aware of the fact that because of the stringent rules, they cannot even plan to harm our country.”

PM has extended the benefits of government schemes like concrete houses, gas connections, electricity, toilets and many more to poor families without any discrimination. If the development work is done without any discrimination then one should cast his vote in favour of Modiji, he said.

Hr even questioned the rationale of opposition parties by asking the caste of PM. This is done with the sole aim to weaken the country,” he said.

Giving assurance to the people, Yogi said after BJP comes back to power no one needs to worry about the development. BJP government is committed towards it. Gorakhpur fertilizer factory, which is going to start soon, will not only create huge job opportunities, farmers will get benefited too. Soon the production of petrol and diesel will start from the sugar mills we installed. Many mills were shut down during the previous government’s tenure but when we came in power, we brought them back to life”, he said.
