Criminal carrying reward of Rs 1 lakh arrested after encounter in Balrampur

Balrampur, Aug 19 (UNI) Dreaded criminal carrying reward of Rs 1 lakh was arrested after encounter with police in Utraula area, superintendent of police Rajesh Kumar said here on Sunday.

Mr Kumar said that acting on a tip-off, police team intercepted some criminals near Gaidas Bujurg area late here on last night but they opened fire on police in which inspector Santosh Singh, constable Om Prakash and Nasir were injured.
